Coffman Deals Gahanna First Loss 31-13
Since opening the season with a loss, Coffman has been surging. On the road last week, the Rocks (4-1) dealt Gahanna their first loss of the year 31-13. Coffman trailed early 6-0 after an interception return for a touchdown, but rattled off 24 unanswered points in the first half to pull away for good. Senior Casey Kirk rushed for a game-high 198 yards on 26 carries to go with 2 TD's. Senior QB Drew Hodgson was 8-of-13 passing for 183 yards and two scores. For Gahanna (4-1) sophomore QB Mike Lowery tossed for 245 yards and a TD while David MIller hauled in 12 catches for 195 yards in the loss.
