The Tornadoes swept up a hot Quakers squad on Friday, 46-34, to snap their 12-game winning streak and snag the ECOL title outright. An exciting crosstown rivalry drew a sold-out crowd that roared throughout the night. After leading by three at half, New Philadelphia could only muster 12 second-half points on a solid Dover defense. Tornadoes senior Tyler Bardall had a game-high 17 points and the Quakers now turn their focus to making a run in the D-II state tournament.
